Financial Statement Analysis and Valuation
A full analysis and valuation of Johnson and Johnson financial Statement. Reformulated the statement of common equity and balance sheet to get insight into how a firm conducts its business. Then reorganized the Income Statement to distinguish between operating income from sales and operating income not coming from sales to understand the profitability of trading with customers. Also, ratios analysis was performed based on the reformulated financial statements to measure and evaluate a company’s growth and ability to generate profit relative to its revenue, assets, operating costs, and shareholders’ equity. A common size and trend analysis to get deeper insight into the company and how it’s changing over time. Created a full forecast, valuation and an independent discounted cash flow (DCF) model.
